Mark of the Unicorn (MOTU) makes music software and audio recording technology for personal computers. MOTU was founded in 1980 and has been developing music software since 1984.
MOTU developed one of the Macintosh's first MIDI sequencing programs, called Performer, in 1985.
MOTU now produces a full line of music and audio recording products for Macintosh and Windows.
