We are looking for motivated students to intern with WikiRecording.org

Student must be a self starter who is interested in audio recording, wikis, the GNU movement and guerilla web marketing. Programming skills and familiarity with MediaWiki are a plus, but not required.

The student is expected to help edit articles and write articles, participate in online audio forums, and take an active role in decision making process at WikiRecording. Furthermore, we encourage students to look for recording studios in their area where they can co-intern or visit, observe, take photographs, and learn at. We will help in locating willing studios and engineers.

We are a very small organization (only one full time worker) so the intern will be very high up on the food chain (think third in command.)

For those interested in learning about the realities of running a small startup website, building an online social network, and earning a living in an open source world.

Telecommuting is OK as long as you don't mind coming to work via "AIM". WikiRecording is based in the Portland area.

This is an unpaid internship and should be viewed as work experience.
